Illustration Concept
The project focused on designing a children's book poster using digital illustration in Procreate. It depicts a snowy scene with a warm house and two squirrels gathering hazelnuts, symbolizing cooperation and preparation for winter. The illustration also includes a creative touch with a snowman made of hazelnuts, combining multiple winter-related themes.
Design concept
The illustration, made in Procreate with an iPad pencil, used a dotted brush for snowflake effects and layered elements with clipping masks for shading. Soft brown and cyan colors depicted the winter scene, and a cartoon style was chosen to engage the target audience of children, making the project both fun and visually appealing.
